Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Bid/Tender Intern to join our team. This pivotal role involves managing the process of tender documents, acting as a subject matter expert in tender responses, and collaborating closely with various specialists within the company. Your skills will be essential in writing and submitting tender responses that are both compelling and compliant. You will receive oversight and mentorship from the company, which has been tendering for +5 years in both the private and public sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end proposal/RFI processes, ensuring alignment with sales objectives and market demands.
- Consolidate various inputs to create quality, compliant bid responses adhering to governance standards.
- Project manage the delivery of bids, ensuring timely submission.
- Provide regular updates on tender/RFI status, managing risks and potential delays.
- Support the Partnerships team in identifying and capitalizing on bid opportunities.
- Developed and refined proposal templates and complex responses, maintaining an internal library.
- Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives for proposal and presentation development.
- Analyze industry literature, draft bid proposal content, and verify documentation accuracy.
- Conduct interviews with technical experts to gather necessary information for bids.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Proficiency in English.
- Reliable personal transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of APMP Foundation certificate.
- Preferred Qualifications: Degree (or currently pursuing) in;-
- Business Administration,
- Project Management,
- Or a related field.
- Experience MS 365.
Key Deliverables:
- Ensure customer satisfaction and shorten time to market.
- Manage the bid/response process effectively.
- Develop presentation packages and briefing documentation.
- Analyze and extract pertinent information for bid responses.
