The intention of the programme is to provide the learners with workplace integrated skills, coaching, and practical application of their formal discipline in readiness for our business requirements or the job market.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Technical & Regulatory Manager in operational tasks required to support the business and deliver business goals.
- Assist the Technical & Regulatory Manager with PLM Cloud transitioning.
- To compile registration dossiers for submission to relevant regulatory authorities as approved by the Regulatory Manager.
- To ensure that correct formulations are handed over to Supply Chain for loading onto SAP.
- To assist in the approval of new raw material suppliers by ensuring that all technical documentation is available for assessment by Technical & Regulatory Manager and Regional Raw Material Manger.
- To ensure all product changes are captured and tracked properly on the Product Change Request tool.
- To ensure all new and existing product labels are compliant to the relevant regulations and standards.
- To ensure that all active products in the item master have updated GHS compliant Safety Data Sheets.
- Support Marketing Communications by ensuring all Product Information Sheets have all the required technical data and updates.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 and minimum BSc. (Chemistry or Biochemistry or related)
- Proficient in English
- 0 – 1 year. Where the candidate has the 1 year working experience, it must be in Product Development within R&D with exposure to regulatory compliance.
Skills and Competencies:
- Scientific aptitude with the ability to apply your mind to technical challenges
- A motivated self-starter and hard worker willing to learn and grow in the role.
- A critical, analytical and methodical person who pays attention to detail.
- Bias for action and willingness to take on new challenges
