Location: Pretoria, Gauteng; Bloemfontein and Qwaqwa, Free State; Gqeberha, East London, Butterworth, Cofimvaba, Fort Beufort, Mthatha, Queenstown and Flagstaff, Eastern Cape; Durban, Pietermaritzburg and Port Shepston, KwaZulu-Natal; Polokwane, Sekhukhune, Vhembe, Makhado, Mopani and Greater Letaba, Limpopo; Mbombela and Bushbuckridge, Mpumalanga; Mahikeng, Brits, Rustenburg, Potchefstroom, Zeerust, Koster, Vryburg and Greater Taung, North West; Kimberly, Springbok and Upington, Northern Cape & Cape Town and Knysna, Western Cape, South Africa

The Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE) invites unemployed graduates, who wish to apply for the 24-month (2024-2026) Internship Programme. Eligible candidates must have completed at least a three (3) year formal qualification from a recognised Higher Education Institution in the following fields of study. Interns will receive a stipend/allowance of R7,142.00 per month.
Requirements:
- Not previously participated in any internship programme in the Public Service,
- Have completed at least a 3 year qualification from a recognised Institution of Higher Education (National Diploma / BTech / Bachelor’s Degree / B Com, BSc or BA / Honours / M Tech / Masters / PhD)
- Application must be submitted in a new Z83 form and students are encouraged to list their major subjects on the CV or put the academic record.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of ID documents, qualifications, and recent academic transcripts/records.
- On the Z83 form, on the space provided for position indicate “DFFE INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME” and use the reference provided on the advert.
- Incomplete, e-mailed, faxed and late applications will NOT be considered.
