The National Department of Health is offering internship positions for suitably qualified unemployed graduates. Here are the details:
Duties:
- Imports and exports of biological materials.
- Inspection of laboratories, including tissue banks.
- Acquiring information on international standards for establishing pathological laboratories, tissue banks, and other banks related to human tissues.
- Verification of registration of the Principal Investigator / Medical Specialist with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
Requirements:
- National Diploma (NQF 6) / Degree (NQF 7) in;-
- Microbiology
- Biomedical Science
- Good communication (written and verbal), planning, and organising skills.
