Our multi-disciplinary consultancy has an opportunity for a Mechanical and/or Mechatronics Graduate for a career in the built environment in our Somerset West and/or Centurion offices.
The successful candidate will work side by side with architects, electrical-, mechanical-, civil-, structural-, and electronic engineers, project managers and quantity surveyors.
Minimum Requirements:
- BSc Mechatronics Engineering or B Eng Mechanical Engineer degree from a reputable South African University.
- 0-3 years post graduate experience.
- Registered as a Candidate Engineer at ECSA.
Responsibilities:
- Confer with engineers, clients, and others to discuss existing or potential engineering projects and products.
- Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical and mechanical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
- Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
- Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation standards and specifications.
- Inspect completed installations and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standards.
- Adhere to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
