Requirements
The Core Purpose of the Role:
The candidate will be required to analyse and design Bridge and major Culvert type structures. It will be expected from candidate to compile Bill of Quantities, Tender and Construction Drawings for bridges and major culverts.
The successful candidate will be responsible for/should possess the following:
- Design of Bridge and Culvert Structures as per THM 7 part 1, 2 and 3
- Compiling of both Tender and Construction Drawings,
- Bridge and Culvert Inspections with Bridge or Culvert Inspectors
- Compiling of Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for Tender purposes
- Adhering to GIBB Quality Management System.
- Issuing of drawings to site and attending to site queries
- Attending Client Meetings with Bridge Lead
Job Requirements:
Qualifications
- BSc (Civil Engineering) or BENG (Civil Engineering)
- Masters or Honours in Structural Engineering will be beneficial
Experience Required
- 0-3 years post graduation experience
- AutoCAD and/or Revit experience
