The Chester Group is on the lookout for new talent to join our team! We are pleased to advise that we have internship opportunities available within the following disciplines:
- Human Resource for Chester Butcheries
- Marketing for Chester Butcheries
- Supply Chain for Chester Wholesale Meat
Requirements:
- Must have a Diploma / Degree qualification in the relevant field.
- Must have less than 2 years of working experience post studies.
- Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Must show initiative and a willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills (verbal and written) skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and a team player.
- Organised and good attention to detail.
- Trustworthy with an excellent work ethic.
- Must reside within the Durban area and willing to travel.

HR Graduate – Chester Butcheries
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The intern will work in the HR department and will be given exposure to generalist HR functions, including but not limited to, HR administration, recruitment, training and industrial relations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma qualification in HR field
Marketing Graduate – Chester Butcheries
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The intern will work in the Marketing department and will be given exposure to marketing activities within the retail environment.
Qualifications:
- Diploma qualification in Marketing field
2 x Supply Chain Graduate – Chandling International
Duties & Responsibilities:
- The intern will be assigned to either our Sales or Imports Department and will be given exposure to sales, procurement, logistics, and to warehouse operations.
