The Culture, Art, Tourism, Hospitality, and Sport Sector Education and Training Authority invites unemployed graduates to apply for a 12-month Graduate / Internship Programme 2024 / 2025.

CATHSSETA was formally known as the Tourism and Hospitality Education and Training Authority (THETA) until 1 April 2012, when they became the Culture, Art, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Sector Education and Training Authority.
Their mandate is to facilitate skills development within the sub-sectors through the disbursement of grants for learning programmes and monitoring of education and training as outlined in the National Skills Development Strategy (NSDS).
Applications are invited from candidates to apply for a 12 months Internship Programme. The interns will receive a monthly stipend of R 5 000. Kindly note that there is no guarantee of placement beyond the Internship contract terms.
No work experience is required. However, applicants must possess Matric and a relevant National Diploma/Bachelor’s/BTech/Honour’s Degree in the field applied for.

- National Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Project Management, or Human Resource Management/Development/Industrial Psychology (depending on the chosen field)
Internship Locations:
- Head Office, Noordwyk in Midrand (Learning Programmes)
- Eastern Cape, Northern Cape and Western Cape Region (Northlink TVET College in Cape Town) (Learning Programmes)
- KwaZulu-Natal and Free State Region (Thekwini TVET College in Durban) (Learning Programmes)
- Noordwyk in Midrand (Services – Human Capital Management)
