Azoteq is a fabless semiconductor company, design, and supplies technology to leading brands such as JBL, Google, Sennheiser, Microsoft and Lenovo. Azoteq’s R&D headquarters are situated in Paarl, South Africa and we have offices in Pretoria, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei, Singapore, Tokyo, Seoul, Munich, and Texas support the marketing, sales, and supply chain functions.
We are looking for a zealous Marketing Assistant to support the Marketing department of our company in its primary and administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Organise and manage marketing administration.
- Provide support to the marketing department.
- Perform market and client research.
- Create reports on marketing performance.
- Maintain schedules for marketing initiatives.
- Assist with creating social media and website content.
- Assist with making product videos (videos are edited on After Effects).
- Arranging internal marketing activities such as team building events and internal communication.
- General administration – Other tasks assigned by manager from time to time.
- Updates to the backend of the website (WordPress).
Qualifications:
- Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent) in;-
- Marketing,
- Business Administration
- or a related field
- Years’ experience: 0-2 years practical experience
Skills Required:
- Creative
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Comfort with multi-tasking in a deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word)
- Demonstrated experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest)
- Digital photography and video editing experience
- Adobe After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator software experience
- Experience working on WordPress.
The candidate must be self-motivated, be able to plan their own work and carry projects from start to finish. The candidate must enjoy innovative and creative tasks.
