IT Network Intern
Closing Date: 30 November 2022
An opportunity for a recent IT Network graduate to join our client for a 12-month internship, based in the East-Rand Area. You will be part of the Infrastructure & Operations EMEA support team and together with your colleagues provide support on the server hosting, cloud and IAM services. An ITIL certification will be advantageous.
Please note candidates with previous internship experience will not be considered
Duties and Responsibilities:
- You ensure tickets for Server Hosting, Network, EUC and IAM are assigned in an efficient way and help resolve standard service requests.
- Incidents and standard requests will be handled according to the agreed SLA and with the necessary attention to quality and communication.
- By pro-actively checking the environment, the team and you prevent outages and as such impact on the users.
Through the configuration management process, you ensure we have a complete inventory of the assets and components involved in the services. - You secure the compliance of our server and network components by following up on the agreed patching and lifecycle process.
- You involve and follow up with our partners to ensure that incidents and requests are resolved in an efficient way.
Educational Requirements:
- You are passionate about technology
- Fluency in English, spoken and written is a must
- ITIL Certification or knowledge
- Technology certifications are a plus
IT Support Intern
Closing Date: 01 December 2022
A 12-month opportunity for a self-directed, problem-solving IT graduate with a passion for technology and collaboration. The successful candidate will need to have obtained their IT qualification or have completed it by December 2022.
Key Requirements:
- Completed IT Degree/ Diploma
- Additional IT certificates beneficial
- Microsoft office skills
- Fluency in English, spoken and written is a must with good communication skills.
- Own Vehicle and valid driver’s licence.
- Have a passion for IT.
- Must reside in the East Rand
Technical Planning Intern
Closing Date: 16 December 2022
An opportunity for a 12-month Technical Planner internship has become available within the Ekurhuleni area. Candidates with Technical qualifications are invited to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Expediting Parts for Service & Planners where required which will assist reducing overall ageing WIP.
- Updating Service customers on parts leadtimes & service dates.
- Examination & reviewing of service reports with job assessments & completion.
- Reviewing any additional work & service extras identified on service reports, essentially closing the loop & follow up.
- Technician leads follow up and submit to rep for quoting.
- Assist where required with opening of jobs on behalf of planner/s and the ordering of parts.
Requirements:
- Matric.
- Tertiary (Technical) qualification.
- Technical Knowledge.
- Strong Analytical Skills.
You will be required to have completed or in your final year of completing a tertiary qualification.
