We have exciting opportunities for Mechanical / Electrical Engineer Intern within Alstom Ubunye.
This position is based in Gauteng at our premises in Nigel.
Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will be responsible for the following: Key performance areas:
- Taking Part in implementation of APSYS Quality Roadmap.
- Taking Part in Zero Defect Program initiatives.
- Ensuring that internal and customer quality requirements are maintained
- Communicating and maintaining the required quality standards to other functions
- Promote and uphold the quality key points, quality standards.
- Industrial Quality records/documentation management.
- Inspecting of goods, components and sub assembles received, ensuring all quality issues are identified, reported, and resolved promptly when required.
- Ensuring that all quality issues are identified, communicated, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner
- Taking part in corrective action meetings and activities, defect alerts quality circles
The above performance areas will be fulfilled in consideration of the student’s experiential training requirements where applicable.

Qualification, Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
- S4 Subjects completed, Electrical
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 advantageous
- Knowledge of quality improvement processes / quality control / Assurance systems & procedures advantageous
Mechanical Engineer Intern
Qualification, Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:
- S4 Subjects completed, Mechanical / NDT
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 advantageous
- Knowledge of quality improvement processes / quality control / Assurance systems & procedures advantageous
