Engineer Intern
We are looking for a determined and passionate Engineer Intern to be located in Johannesburg Office
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge Customer RFQs.
- Screening of customers/prospects Customer support by promptly responding enquiries.
- Follow up on quotes, and or any outstanding information from the customer.
- Customer support by promptly responding to the various status of quotes & orders.
- Receive customer orders & verification against the offer / Quote.
- Handover of Orders to the order handlers Communicate with colleagues, business unit experts / Product centers for technical support.
- Work with existing relations or in projects and in what is generated via field sales.
- Jointly with sales be part of the projects making visits, meetings, and interactions with customers,
- Support sales with product presentations to offer a customized value proposition to the customer.
- Develop to be a product champion in a product launch campaign or in product campaigns and drives.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in;-
- Chemical Engineering
- Or equivalent
Competencies, Experience, and Attitudes:
- Fair application and process knowledge of Mechanical equipment.
- Good skills to work with IT tools, e.g., Office 365
- Good team player.
- Strong communication & networking skills. Fluent in speaking English.
Customer Support Intern
We are looking for a determined and passionate Customer Support Intern to be located in our Kempton Park office
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval Product and services.
- Investigate and identify parts/products needed by customer.
- Create and actively follow up transactional quotes.
- Proactive looking for upselling opportunities.
- Actively follow up the quote in order to understand if the proposed value is understood and if it is matching the customer needs.
- Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Chemical Engineering
- 0-2 Years of Experience
Service Centre Technician Intern
We are looking for an energetic Service Centre Technician Intern to support the service business by working on repair and reconditioning of machines in the workshop.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Execute repairs according to specifications
- Be engaged in problem resolution
- Suggest improvements for products and working procedures
- Engaged in 5S, safety and quality and immediately call for WM in case of problems/risks
- Minimise number of workshop hours

Accounting & Support Services Intern
Finance Team in the South Africa is looking for an exceptional Accounting & Support Services Intern to be based in our office in Isando, Kempton Park.
Most tasks and responsibilities will require your dedicated contribution as part of a team, but individual initiative will be encouraged.
Responsibilities Include:
- Overall responsibility of the expense claims processing for the ALMEA region on SAP concur.
- Downloading of employee expense claims (mileage claims, reimbursements) list for the month on Concur and send it to Human Resources for processing.
- Preparing of schedules (accruals/intercompany charges etc) for monthly month end closing
- Assist with bookkeeping of Angola Service Centre
- Assist with computation of company corporate income tax, dividends tax & deferred tax
- Support Accountants with IFRS 16 new leases, derecognitions, modifications
- Assist with preparation of external audit documentation.
- Assist with annual financial statement preparation on Draftworx
- Assist with month end, year-end closing processes.
- Assist with ad hoc request from Regional Accounts Receivable Manager
- Assist with Adhoc technical matters faced by the accounting function.
- Assist with yearend stock taking process.
- Assist Accounting team with various ad hoc tasks.
- Process improvements
Qualifications and Experience:
- B Com Accounting, BCompt
- Completed SAICA/SAIPA articles and or honors are an added advantage.
- Computer literate in MS Office which includes Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
- A basic understanding and knowledge of the regulatory requirements impacting on the mechanical industry, although not a prerequisite.
- 2-5 years working experience.
