The Aluminium Federation of South Africa invites unemployed graduates to apply for Graduate / Internship Programme 2023 / 2024.

Job Type: Graduate Internship
Location: Bedfordview, Gauteng, South Africa
Closing Date: 24 February 2023
This position aims to conduct research about the economics of Aluminium globally and in South Africa and ensure that research findings, as well as any other information that may be of interest to AFSA Members, are disseminated. The dissemination of information and research results may take many forms, including but not limited to newsletter articles, magazines, conference presentations, webinars, industry meetings, reports and presentations in an understandable manner. Furthermore, the incumbent may be required to make trade data available to Aluminium Federation of South Africa (AFSA) Members and other stakeholders on request.
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in;-
- Economics
- Local Economic Development
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Have 2 years of working experience.
- Report writing, proofreading, editing and presentation skills.
- Have the ability to work independently and under pressure.
- Have an energetic and enthusiastic personality.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Economic policy research (both qualitative and quantitative analysis).
- Disseminate research findings through presentations and articles in industry publications, conferences and workshops.
- Provide internal content in research projects, proposals, workshops, training, events, publications, and other outputs.
- Perform any other tasks as and when required.
