Afrimat Nkomati Anthracite situated in Sikhwahlane has an internship programme for: Health and Safety (24 months).
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Health and Safety or relevant
- COMSOC 1 and 2 will be advantageous
- SAMTRAC will be advantageous
- Valid Driver’s License
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
- Must be between 18 and 35 years old
- Currently unemployed and have never embarked on an internship programme before
- Proof of residence signed by the Local Traditional Council will be required upon appointment as candidates from Matsamo, Mawewe and Kwalugedlane will be given first preference.
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated excellent academic achievement
- The ability to work independently as well as in a team
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced deadline oriented environment
- An aptitude for problem solving
- Previous successful experience as an active member of a team
- A strong commitment to excellence and to personal and professional growth
- Must be resourceful, independent, responsible, confident and of high energy.
