Laboratory Intern
Location: Chloorkop, Gauteng, South Africa
Closing Date: 24 October 2022
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct stability testing of new and/or alternative raw material in new and/or registered formulations.
- Complete stability test report for all completed stability studies of formulations.
- Prepare laboratory reagents and standard solutions timeously with a meticulous record of preparation dates, expiry dates etc.
- To conduct tank nix compatibility test of formulations on a laboratory scale as requested.
- Conduct routine calibration and maintenance of all laboratory apparatus and instruments.
- To maintain a meticulous record of all instrument calibrations and verifications.
- To complete formulation preparation and analysis as requested.
- To assist with any adhoc lab work as requested.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric / Grade 12
- National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry or BSc Chemistry
- Minimum of 6 months’ exposure in a chemical laboratory
Technical Internship
Location: Umbogintwini, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa
Closing Date: 24 October 2022
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support and assist Technical Manager
- Conduct site inspections
- Assist with preparing of scopes of work for quoting purposes
- Monitor contractors in terms of;-
- Health &Safety
- Quality of workmanship
- Programme
- Generally assist Leasing team as required
- Compliance with AECI safety policies, standards and requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Matric/Grade 12
- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering/Construction or studying towards
- Driver’s License
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
Industrial Psychology Intern
Location: Modderfontein, Gauteng, South Africa
Closing Date: 17 October 2022
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide an HC administrative service to employees and ensuring that all input/advice is accurate as per HC policy
- Administer Study Assistance applications and monitor progress
- Arranging of Internal and External training, liaising with L&D Department
- Assist in conducting of Training analysis with line managers
- Facilitate learnership engagements, liaising with L&D Department
- Facilitate new hires for the company
- Provide support on Talent Acquisition processes and initiatives
- Provide support on onboardings, offboardings and crossboardings
- Assist with monthly payroll and ensure that all submissions are accurately submitted on time
- The intern plays an important role in providing relief to the HC staff with lower levels of work when required
