AECI Mining invites environment graduates to apply for Internship Programme in relevant disciplines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review past and current environmental events to ensure all necessary data and information has been collected.
- Work with several databases that require data entry.
- Work with Environmental Department and operations departments on daily license requirements and air emission regulatory requirements such as data collection and data entry.
- Present a report on the status of investigations and other work that was completed during the internship.
- Assist in gathering process data and analyzing for report submittal to regulatory agencies
- Draft monthly newsletter.
- Data capturing of carbon data.
- Assist with regulatory inspections required by the environmental department.
- Work with environmental staff to implement environmental tracking and reporting systems.
- Work closely with environmental staff and operations on a variety of regulatory matters.
- Follow and assist with all training requirements.
Qualifications:
- Matric with Mathematics and Science
- BSc in;-
- Environmental Management
- Or similar
- Basic Computer Skills.
