Key Purpose Statement
The key purpose of this role is to provide support to enhance technical and leadership skills required to manage Safety & Environment in a Brewery environment an d beyond.
Requirements
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Safety / Environment Management or equivalent BTech qualification.
Output and Accountabilities
• Ensure compliance to the applicable occupational Health and Safety Act •Ensure compliance to the Environmental Management Act
• Ensure workplace hazards are identified and communicated to all staff.
• To monitor and advise on Safety and Environmental Pillar performance
• Promote Safety and Environmental Awareness
• Support and facilitate safety improvement interventions
• Conduct audits and review legal compliance
• Conduct investigations into incidents
• Ensure induction of both employees and contractors takes place
• Effective communication / Presentation skills
• Self managed and assertiveness
•Must have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business
• Creative and broad minded thinker
