The following positions of a General Worker became available in our Warehouse, at Starke Ayres, Kempton Park and at our Pietermaritzburg Depot .

Purpose of these Roles:

The purpose of this position is to assist with all general duties within the Warehouse.
The purpose of this job is to pick stock and make up customer orders as per customer invoice and prepare same for despatch as per customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

Ensure all seed / items that must be discarded is done according to correct procedure on a continuous basis / daily.
Ensure that the incinerator is operated in the correct and safe manner.
All seed / items that are discarded to be documented.
Ensure to assist with the loading and offloading of all vehicles.
Assists fellow workers with execution of tasks whenever own responsibilities have been executed and completed.
Assists with the bi-annual as well as ad hoc stock counts/checks as per Warehouse Supervisor’s instruction.
Ensures that work area/s are neat, tidy, organised and clean at all times.
Assists with and adheres to security measures to ensure the safety of products, assets and facility.
Acts responsible and professionally at all times, fostering goodwill and a positive image for the Company.

Requirements:

Grade 12 (essential)
1 Year General Worker (preferential)
Attention to detail
Counting
