South African’s organisation named Safety and Security Graduates and Undergraduates (SSGU) which fights for the rights of crime, policing and traffic control related qualifications possessors who are not employed by the police, public transport and other state-owned organisation and/or companies established to enforce policing, road and citizenry laws.

They strongly believe their being the privilege to join the SAPS and other safety and security related fields headed by our government has to do with nepotism, they made it clear that they applied and wrote psychometric tests yet nothing great came out of it.

“We were not taken into consideration because those holding bigger positions are afraid of us taking over, calling aa spade a spade, the SA safety and security departments is a disappointment to us. How can you hire a grade 12 learners whereas there are graduates in possession of relevant degrees” said the SSGU constituency.

They went ahead to blame the President as they give public transport and police ministries positions to unsuitable, undeserving candidates, “look at Fikile Mbalula, he was the minister of sports, was appointed as both the deputy minister an minister of police before the designation of the current position; public transport minister. Our question is, where di he get the time to learn about sports, policing and traffic or road laws? Our government is promoting laziness.”

SSGU peaceful march to Union Buildings – the 14th of March 2019

The youngster are saying crime is killing South African youngsters’ dreams and our government is doing nothing about it. SSGU’s begun venturing a peaceful march on the 14th day of March 2019 which according to the leaders thereof yielded some good results even though employees from governmental workplaces where implementations were to be made, were not taking those changes serious which led to the implementation thereof taking place merely verbally as everything continued as usual.

These fearful graduates and undergraduates of safety and security took on our government on more than once as they hav attended meetings at the SAPS National Commissioner’s office, Public Transport and Correctional Services head offices.
