Alfeco Holdings is a new generation integrated metals company based in South Africa. It comprises four divisions, namely; Veer Aluminium (aluminium), Pioneer Metals (copper-based alloys), Veer Energy (energy) and Veer Steel Mills (ferrous). Our business continuity strategy is underpinned by our indispensable Skills Development initiatives that continuously aim to maintain the development of critical and portable skills in the metals sector, while uplifting indigent youth within the communities we operate in.
This is achieved by supporting merSETA, the South African National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and the Skills Development Act, to uplift the youth through various development campaigns to equip them for the workplace.
Our bursary opportunities are aimed to assist candidates enrolled to undergo studies in the following disciplines:

- Civil Engineering
- Draughting & Technical Design
- Electrical Engineering
- Environmental Management & Safety
- Finance
- Human Resources Management
- Mechanical Engineering
- Metallurgical Engineering
- Occupational Health & Safety
