Experience & Qualification:
- Grade 12/ NQF 4 with Math and Science as subjects
- Completed N2: Boilermaker (Math, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawing and Plater Trade Theory)
- High fault finding and problem solving skills
- Keen interest in the FMCG and Agriculture sectors
- Must have a valid Drivers license
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Willing to work overtime and perform standby duties when required
- Ability to function independently and as a member of a team
- Ability to identify and solve problems
- Willing to relocate to Frankfort
The following Apprenticeship Opportunities are open for applications:
Boilermaker Apprentice (3 Year Contract)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that technical issues are resolved quickly
- Ensure routine maintenance is done
- Ensure plant upgrades when needed
- Controlling of production outputs by ensuring equipment readiness
- Ensure that bottlenecks are resolved
- Able to troubleshoot and resolve
- Able to work shifts
- Must be able to do Welding/ Tacking
- Mechanical aptitude
- Must be able to do measurements accurately
- Basic math skills/ Calculations of measurements
- Must have sound knowledge of health and safety procedures must follow all health and safety procedures (working safely, wearing of PPE etc.) and reporting of unsafe and hazardous conditions in the work place.
Millwright Apprentice (3 Year Contract)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Together with the Millwright onsite, install, maintain, repair, test and commission electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment and systems in the plant as well as work on electrical distribution and reticulation equipment
- Assisting the Millwright onsite, manufacture, fit and repair machine components and related equipment
- Reduce Breakdowns and ensure maximum equipment availability
- Fault finding on mechanical and electrical equipment
- Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks on mechanical and electrical equipment in the plant
