Specification
Responsibilities:
- Fill in a log book
- Exposure to practical electrical work
- Identify, label, and understand the use of various electrical components. This includes understanding the mechanics behind the component, know what it does, and how it is used for the different applications
- Be able to perform testing and troubleshooting on various electrical components
- Gain exposure to the electrical equipment in the production environment
- Work under supervision and be given small project work in the production environment for example – Be able to wire up a small panel
- Low voltage
- Medium voltage switch gear in the substation – how the mechanics work, transformers, tripping and safety relays
- Learning how to use the various testers
- Working with Artisans to understanding components of the Electrical department
- PLC, Programming and AC/DC Drives
