We are looking for a Freight Operation intern to join our freight team.
ob Description:
- Extensive insight in freight operation, freight trading and sights in the entire value chain of a global commodity trading company.
- Candidate will be part of our global freight team with offices In Melbourne, Durban, Nyon, Singapore and Rotterdam
- Excel as freight operator, engaging with freight traders, port agents, vessels, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct research and analysis to support initiatives in freight operation and trading
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentation, and other relevant documents
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria;-
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Able to work in La Lucia Ridge, Durban 5 days a week Monday to Friday 0800-1630
- Graduated in 2023 in;-
- Logistics,
- International Trade,
- Maritime Studies,
- Supply Chain Management
- Or similar
- Hands on experience in bulk Sea freight may be considered
