Job Responsibilities:
The Marketing Specialist is peer-to-peer teammate of the Marketing Manager and the sales team. The role has 2 dimensions;-
1. As an important marketing link to the African Marketing Branch and local marketing
2. Working with Marketing Manager to provide marketing support to Sales and Customers
An Important local Marketing Link to Marketing Manager
- Working with the Marketing Manager on the Annual Regional Marketing Plan and Quarterly Updates. Working with the Marketing Manager to record, execute, track and ensure agreed strategy and plans are actioned upon, reported and properly closed.
- Support the marketing activitiesto ensure that each marketing campaigns consistent with the activity plan, keep a full and complete record & performance of the event and review with marketing manager.
- Regular monitoring of active processes, prepares a weekly Process Dashboard and works with the Marketing Manager to resolve bottlenecks to facilitate the process.
Supporting Sales and Customers
- When requested and under directions of the Marketing Manager, co-operate with sales team and local partners, distributors on marketing activation and documentation matters
- As an essential team member in planning and execution of exhibition events and strategic conference
- Supporting co-marketing activities with distributors, be able to give strong support to distributors on co-marketing with the guideline of Marketing Manager, including the execution and supervision of co-marketing campaigns, update and production of marketing kit, gifts & materials.
- Track and record the performance and expense of distribution activities, check and update the distribution budget rate with the Marketing Manager biweekly.
- Monitoring sales performance on marketing activities, ensure the participation of sales on different marketing activities.
Marketing Specialist Skills and Qualifications:
A Marketing Specilist should be skilled in a variety of advertising methods, including digital, print and physical events. Some of the other necessary skills and qualifications include;-
- Knowledge of marketing-related business practices, including advertising, market research, technology and budgeting
- Proficient with marketing-related software programs
- Demonstrated history of planning successful product launches and events
- Effective communication skills and adaptable communication style for interacting with team members, upper management and clients
- Strong on-site execution capability, Time management and organization skills in order to plan and execute both large and small marketing projects and initiatives
- Analytical and problem-solving skills for coming up with ideas to increase demand for products and services
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s Degree in-
- Marketing
- Or other related major.
- Multi-tasking processing ability.
- Be able to develop creative ideas into something practical and workable.
- Good communication skills, problem-solving skills, good interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven and has good business acumen.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Fluent English
