We are inviting motivated, innovative, and hardworking University Graduates for a 12-month internship at our company.
The following Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
Human Resources Intern
The focus of this Internship will be to support the general administration of HR processes and provide a professional HR service to the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the team with projects and research.
- Assist with chocking that timoshoets have been updated and approved in limo for payroll.
- Quality check documentation that adheres to standardized processes.
- Industrial relations procedures.
- Training & development processes.
- Assist with recruitment & selection.
- Assist with taking minutes of meetings.
- Co-ordinate employee events.
Requirements:
- National Diploma in HR Management
- Computer Literate (Ms Office)
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail are essential
- Must be able to communicate well on all levels
- Good admin skills
Occupational Health & Safety Intern
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in facilitating and ensuring that staff and contractors comply with relevant legislation, regulations, and standards.
- Conduct site inspections to drive a safety culture within the business (including contractors on site).
- Distribute and track non-conformances for closure.
- Conduct Hazard Identification Risk Assessments in various departments.
- Assist and provide support in incident investigations.
- Conduct induction for employees and visitors.
- Ensure that legal appointments are kept up to date.
- Maintain the H&S Management filing system.
- Prepare documents for audits and inspections.
- Take minutes of H&S committee meetings.
- Issue PPE to various departments.
- Track training as per Annual training plan and file competency records
- Track audit findings, survey recommendations etc. and ensure proof of closure is submitted & filed.
- Review SHE documentation.
- Assist with prompt reporting, investigation, and remedial action.
- Participate in all Evacuation drills and preparations thereof.
- Assist in internal audits.
- Verify that statutory inspections are conducted timeously.
Requirements:
- Completed National Diploma in;-
- Environmental Health
- Safety Management.
- Knowledge of ISO 45000 & 14001:2015 is advantageous.
- MS Office (Word. Excel & PowerPoint).
- Ability to communicate fluently in English.
- Good report writing skills.
Analytical Chemistry Intern
Key Responsibilities:
- Help research chemical reactions in the laboratory.
- Assist with testing/studying various materials.
- Gather and analyse data and develop fact-based recommendations resulting from the analysis.
- Assist with process and product development.
- Assist with method validation and method optimisation.
- Assist in performing qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Assist with basic laboratory research.
- Assist with projects.
- Assist with laboratory related administrative duties.
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry
- Knowledge of chemistry principles, techniques, and instrumentation.
- Good mathematical and statistical knowledge.
- Laboratory, chemical problem-solving and research skills.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills.
- Computer Literate (Ms Office)
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
Marketing Intern
The focus of this Internship will be on Digital & Brand Marketing, Customer Care and Marketing
administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with Agencies.
- Support the Customer Care Specialist.
- Assist with briefs.
- Assist with administration.
- Assist with the Vital Academy and the training of Vital employees.
- Assist with data capturing.
- Assist with Digital & Brand Marketing.
- Reception relief duties and general assistance within the company.
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Marketing
- Computer Literate (Ms Office)
- Excellent written and verbal skills.
- Own transport is essential.
Finance Intern
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with carrying out accounting and administrative duties within the accounts department of the various group companies.
- Assist with all matters related to fixed assets such as updating fixed asset registers and adding fixed assets on the accounting system.
- Assist the accounts payable teams with administration which could also include processing supplier invoices into the accounting system and reconcile to statements requested and received from suppliers.
- Assist the credit control managers with debtors related admin and queries.
- Provide clerical support to senior finance staff.
Requirements:
- National Diploma in;-
- Accounting
- Finance.
- Excellent numeracy and good mathematical skills.
- Knowledge of the basic principles and practices of accounting and financial analysis.
- Ability to check third party (vendor) documents.
- Capable of preparing files and maintaining records and documentation.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner.
- Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Ms Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
Business Intelligence Intern
The focus of this Internship will be to support the Business Intelligence Manager and provide a professional
Business Intelligence service to the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Bl Manager in maintaining reports, data models, master data, dashboards, and improving business processes.
- Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support.
Requirements:
- Completed National Diploma in;-
- Information Technology,
- Management Information Systems,
- Computer Science
- Or equivalent.
- Should seek to gain real world experience beyond only data, i.e., integrated systems experience – People, Processes and Systems.
- Experience with data querying or modelling with SQL.
- Advanced MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, lookups, nested formulas).
- Experience with one or more analytics visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
- Experience with Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS) will be advantageous.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
