BEE Chamber invites unemployed applicants to apply for a 12-month Internship Programme 2023 / 2024.

We are looking for 10 youth for a 12-month YES Programme. The roles will be based in Germiston. Gauteng.
Only candidates in Germiston and the surrounding areas may apply.
Please note that these are ENTRY-LEVEL contract-based roles:
1. Bearing Press Operator x 3
- To set up the press and ensure it meets the size required for the job.
- Press in the B/Housing into the tube and to operate the bearing Housing Press in a safe manner.
- To operator press to install / press bearing onto shaft in a safe manner
2. Saw Operator x 1
- To operate saw to cut HDPE material tubes for production
3. CNC Machine Operator x 1
- To operate the CNC machine in a safe manner
4. Crane Driver x 1
- Drive the crane and move components to designated areas in a safe manner
- Licence will be required
5. Forklift Driver x 1
- To Drive Forklift to transport components in and out of paint line in a safe manner
- Licence will be required
6. Lathe Operator x 1
- To Machine rolls to sizes as per drawing and specifications in a safe manner
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12
- 0-6 months experience
- Black, in accordance with the BEE definition,
- Between the ages of 18 – 34 (as this is the definition of youth)
- A South African citizen.
- The YES programme is not for young people who want to change jobs but for currently unemployed youth.
