Devil’s Peak Brewing is looking for talented graduates/final year students to join their vacation program where you can get practical hands-on experience to kick-start your career.
This program will take place over the summer holiday, therefore the successful candidate will need to commit to working during this period.
The following Summer Internship Opportunities are open for applications:
Junior Engineer Vacation Programme
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager in developing, tracking, updating, and reporting on project progress
- Assist with project coordination
- Communicate expected deliverables with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks
- Ensure projects meet deadlines
- Provide administrative support to project manager
- Ad-hoc support to other departments with supply and logistics
Qualifications: In your final year or recent graduate in relevant studies in;-
- Electrical Engineering,
- Chemical Engineering,
- Mechanical Engineering,
- Industrial Engineering, and
- Mechatronic Engineering
Junior Sales Rep Vacation Programme
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Determine pre-call planning objectives
- Compile daily / weekly reports
- Manage sales and administration
- Handle customer and consumer complaints and queries Cold Calling
- Implement and develop promotional activity to drive consistent pull in relation to the channel management process
- Influence liquor retail pricing within segments
- Maintain stock levels within segments
- Using Commercial conversations/arguments/calculations to influence
- Influence the placement of our products to maintain the best cold and ambient space
- Manage B.T.L placements
- Develop great business relationships
- Maintain customer call rate and frequency
- Conduct regular account reviews
Qualifications: In your final year or recent graduates in relevant studies in;-
- Marketing
- Sales
Junior Brewing Vacation Programme
Gain Exposure in the following Areas:
- To develop strong working relationships within the brewery by collaborating with other brewers, managers, and technical staff
- To develop a strong working knowledge of the essential safety procedures within the brewery
- To learn about all aspects of the brewing process, from working with raw materials to packaging and testing the final product
- To gain an understanding of the techniques that can be used to improve brewery productivity and efficiency
- To understand the processes that are performed to test beer and ingredient quality
- To accurately record data relating to the production processes
- To develop and monitor production plans and schedules
- To become comfortable with operations in the areas of lab, cellars, and filtration
- To independently perform routine analysis as required for the work areas and product specification adherence
Qualifications: In your final year or recent graduate in relevant studies in;-
- Microbiology
- Chemistry
- Chemical Engineering
