Job Description:
Business Modelling Associates (BMA) is looking to recruit highly motivated and ambitious graduates. This is a real opportunity for ambitious graduates to gain experience of leading edge business analytics solutions in a customer facing role. Candidates should be quantitatively strong and
passionate about applying various analytical approaches to solving real-world business problems.
Applicants should possess good people skills and be able to work and manage their time independently. You will also be required to interact with global and remote clients and business consultants and it is therefore imperative that applicants have exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Applicants must be prepared to travel both locally and internationally.
The Role:
- Develop analytical approaches to solving client problems. Typical methods span Machine Learning. Mathematical Optimisation, Simulation Modelling, Statistical Modelling. etc.
- To understand client requirements and assist the client in the usage of developed models to drive business benefit realisation.
- Provide structured and creative analysis to identify performance improvement opportunities.
- Review and validate data, build and validate models, run scenarios, and assist in the preparation of client presentations.
- Make use of various analytics technologies (e.g. River Logic, SQL, Python, R. PowerBI, etc.)
Key Skills & Experience:
- Qualification in a Quantitative discipline;-
- Engineering.
- Computer Science,
- Mathematics,
- Statistics.
- Actuarial Science,
- Operations Research.
- Good people skills and the ability to work and manage your time independently.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with mathematical modeling / programming / BI / dashboard development would be an added advantage.
