Cash Processing Solutions (CPS) invites students to apply for In-Service Training / Student Internship Programme 2022 / 2023.
Salary: R6 500.00 monthly stipend
Location: Midrand, Gauteng & Cape Town, Western Cape – South Africa
Closing Date: 13 & 18 June 2022
Cash Processing Solutions offers internship opportunity to unemployed South African students requiring in-service training (P1&P2) in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (to include Mathematics and English) aged between 18 and 29 years.
Applicants must be a student from a properly registered tertiary, vocational education & training (TVET) institution requiring in-service training in order to graduate.
The internship opportunity targets previously disadvantaged groups as per Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998.
Learning Objectives:
- Diagnosing system problems in minimal time and making repairs.
- Making recommendations for improving service reliability and performance of Cash Processing equipment.
- Gathering and recording machine information at regular intervals to monitor performance.
- Escalating solving technical problems by seeking timely advice or assistance from technical support when necessary.
- Handling customers in a professional manner during difficult high-pressure situations.
- Documenting system problems and Preventative Maintenance (PM) performed in customer’s site log.
- Submitting appropriate spare parts paperwork on a weekly basis.

Requirements:
- Studying towards a qualification in Mechanical Engineering (to include Mathematics and English)
- Candidate must require In-service Training (P1&P2) to complete their qualification in Engineering.
- Computer Literate (XP, MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent team work
- Ability to solve difficult technical problems or actively seek out solutions
- Ability to show an approach to continuous improvement
- Must be available and willing to commit at least 12 months for an internship
Workshop Intern
Location: Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa
Closing Date: 18 June 2022
Requirements:
- Studying towards a qualification in Electrical Engineering (to include Mathematics & English)
- Candidate must require In-service Training (P1&P2) to complete their qualification in Engineering
- Computer literate (XP, MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skill to all levels
- Excellent teamwork
- Ability to solve difficult technical problems or actively seek out solutions
- Ability to show an approach to continuous improvement
- Must be available and willing to commit at least 12 months for an internship
